ROWE HAS HEARING THURSDAY

         Raymond Rowe, the convicted killer of Christy Mirack in 1992, has a Post Conviction Collateral Relief Hearing before Judge Dennis Reinaker on Thursday, August 26th at 1:30 pm in Courtroom #8. Rowe’s full docket is here.
      He is pictured above on his fourth wedding day in 2013 to his current wife, Elena Rowe.

    If he’s in the county prison, there’s been a big outbreak of Covid among the inmates currently. If he isn’t afflicted with it, the rule of thumb is to isolate. Should be interesting.

      Guilty pleas are almost never voluntary or made of free will. They are the result of threats of something far worse and coercion. They also prmote prosecutors to pile on every charge they can think of so they have something to offer to plead down to. They are banned in Alaska. If you are charged there, you go to trial or charges are dropped if the case falls apart. Not surprised public defenders did not want to try a complicated DNA case with no budget while Craig Stedman spent money like a sailor on leave. Plea bargains should be banned in all 50 states.
