* A final note today: Tony Dastra, if you are running for mayor as you have stated twice now before city council, we need a website or a Facebook page for your candidacy! Seriously!
DON’T FEEL BAD
FOR TOM MURSE!
Tomorrow morning I will discuss Scott Martin possibly running for governor (lol!). Don’t feel sorry for LNP Executive Editor Tom Murse. Yes, he’s going to have a lot to discuss with his media friends about why he never told the public about Martin’s two (secret) divorces and then marrying the county treasurer! Oh, my!
Tomorrow afternoon and all day Friday I will only post about the missing $150,000 from the DA’s Drug Task Force. It’s been over a year and the public needs answers! Thank you for your patience.
Regarding yesterday’s city council meeting, I want to transcribe what Tene Darby (pictured left) told city council and the mayor at their June 1st committee meeting and what council person Amada Bakay said about her. It was the subject of several public comments last night. And I also want to transcribe Sharon Allen Spann’s shocking report last night about minority hiring for the police and fire departments for many years.
Oh, and then there’s Patrick Hopkins…
OVER A WEEK OLD NEWS!
* This article went up on Lancaster Online several hours ago. This is coverage of June 1st’s city council committee meeting. This is a disgrace. Resign, LNP Executive Editor Tom Murse!
*** BREAKING NEWS ***
SENORITY POINTS TABLED (AGAIN!)
By a vote of 4 – 3 last night, city council tabled the removal of seniority points for promotions of the police and fire until the August 10th meeting. The vote was as follows:
For the table:
— Jaime Arroyo
— Amanda Bakay
— Janet Diaz
— Ismail Smith-Wade-El
Against the table:
— Faith Craig
— Xavier Garcia-Molina
— Pete Soto
There will be all kinds of news coming later – Tony Dastra has a brother – Joey! Who knew? And Dastra is running for mayor.
Jaime Arroyo (pictured left) shone last night, as did Janet Diaz and Xavier Garcia-Molina. Amanda Bakay got some well deserved flack over comments she made at last week’s committee meeting.
Terrible, awful, shocking hiring results for minorities over the years for both the fire and the police were reported last night. Unbelievable – except this site has reported on the police failing to hire any black citizens.
Jess King filled in for Mayor Sorace who she stated was attending the McCaskey graduation. Fifteen years, Patrick Hopkins? That is far too long for a liar like you.
And so much more…
