LNP has finally gone up with coverage of Monday’s city council committee meeting – click here for, “Lancaster City Council hears proposal to eliminate seniority points from police, fire promotion process.” There is no mention in the article about the proposed condominiums and there will be more on that here tomorrow.
Have a happy and safe Friday!
*   Where does Ted Sickler’s loyalty lie? He is the “Managing Editor of Presentation” for LNP but he is also a United Way Board Member. What a conundrum! Where does his loyalty lie?

Kevin Ressler ran for mayor in 2017 and didn’t like the media coverage. In fact, he doesn’t like LNP and their Marriott Hotel much at all. I understand. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years.
And Ressler decides as the President and CEO of the United Way of Lancaster County he is going to start his own “community news source” – One United Lancaster (OUL).  Interesting.
But then he turns around and picks one of the reasons LNP is/was so awful – former reporter Tim Stuhldreher – to be his editor. It makes absolutely no sense.
Please check back later today.

But the home in the 600 block of Poplar Street also happened to be that of the niece of Jessica Lopez, a prominent fixture of summer protests who is also suing a city police officer over claims he groped her during a 2017 drug arrest.

    Caught my eye….

Caught my eye that the caption under the photo says indecent when it should be incident.

Looks like Dr. Manager of LNP Presentation Ph.D. needs to pay attention to things that make the paper look duh.

I’ve always gotten the impression that Kevin Ressler was a decent and caring individual. Perhaps he was given a sob story and felt bad for the guy

For ostensibly arguing for many of the same things as Izzy, Kevin’s style is so different. Rather than manically posting semi-controversial hot takes on Facebook/Twitter that appear as much meant to feed ego than accomplish anything, Kevin is out there putting in the work to build consensus in a conservative Lancaster county and making a real positive impact in the Lancaster community.
