WHERE’S THE MONEY, MAW?

I will put in a new Right-to-Know request for the signed agreement and the city ordinance mentioned in Patrick Hopkins’ letter below will come later today. The city gave MAW 90 days to run LanCity Connect before they paid them over two million dollars to go away and the city took over running LanCity Connect. So where does all of this stand now?
Please check back later today.

Thanks for this. Janet Diaz continues to be the only council member with any interest in representing city residents.

If Patrick Hopkins wasn’t an a$$hole he would have provided you a copy of the unsigned agreement approved by council. But he is a lying a$$hole and is making you submit a new right to know sometime in the undetermined future when the document might exist. Hoping other events overcome this and it is forgotten.

Now maybe we all can start to breathe in justice again.

If it were just that easy ole Barry, there’s so much more work to be done for the community before we can worry about healing. We need Progressive Policing reform; de-fund and de-arm the blue-blood gang.

I’m surprised Mayor Dickina isn’t more transparent on this.
