Bail is “not normally denied in homicide charge”. Chauvin, for e.g. Where DO you get you info?!!!
This comment in yesterday and not approved.
Um… for one thing – Chauvin is in a different state and second – he used to be a cop! Have you been drinking?
The big murder case that was just in the news – 14-year-old Claire Miller who is currently being charged as an adult – has her bail denied. Look up Raymond Rowe (murder of Christy Mirack) and Carlos Montalvo-Rivera (currently in jail awaiting trial for the arson murder of his wife Olga Sanchez-Reyes) and their bail was/is denied. In a homicide case bail is normally denied or set in the millions (Chauvin’s is one million).
According to her docket, Cherrelle Byrd’s bail is 10% of $75,000 or $7,500. That is unheard of in a “typical” homicide case. We have not seen her mugshot and I’m wondering if she has facial injuries?
According to the Prothonotary’s Office, they were divorced on September 22, 2017.
According to Lancaster County marriage records, Cherrelle Byrd and Richard Williams were married on July 14th, 2012. The picture below is from her Facebook page in March of this year.

Cherrelle Byrd’s docket indicates she had her preliminary arraignment this morning before District Judge Nancy G. Hamill. Unless this is an error, there must be extenuating circumstances because her docket indicates her bail is 10% of $75,000. Bail is normally denied in homicide cases.

Man Dies of Gunshot Wound Friday in Mountville

An incident Friday in Mountville resulted in the death of a man who was shot inside his home. Police were contacted Friday evening to respond to the 400 block of Hillside Drive for a dispute between 2 adults. The caller advised a verbal altercation was, or had taken place and one person had been shot.
West Hempfield Township police arrived at the scene and found Richard Williams, who had sustained a single gunshot wound. Williams died later at Lancaster General Hospital.
The homicide investigation is in relation to a domestic incident and there is no threat to the public.
Cherrelle Byrd has been charged with Criminal Homicide.  The investigation continues. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office is assisting West Hempfield Township police.

I am English on an English Forum for the over Fifty’s.

There are two or three Americans on it.

One of them stated about 2 years ago that the American police where out of control.

Did not believe him so started to watch Facebook Vids and could believe the Murders the police have committed against the Black population.

    Self defense?

    • Becky says:

Something is up! It almost has to be self-defense. Usually bail is denied and hers is 10% of $75,000 or $7,500. What a horrible shame. She has teenage twins and her Facebook page looks like a woman who enjoys life, family, friends and travel. What a shame.

Unless it’s the brother-in-law of Bryan Cutler. Steady Stedman kissed his backside on that.

Bullshit is right. All anyone has to do to avoid “police brutalization” is act civilized when interacting.

  6. Anonymous says:

Such bullshit! EVERYONE has to worry about rogue cops and police brutality. “White people” should not let their guard down. They, too, are brutalized, terrorized, abused, threatened, perjured against, and care about what happens to others. Maybe not as often, or as publicized, but it happens more often than you think and anyone who thinks it won’t happen to them does themselves a disservice by letting their guard down. Always comply with police directives, always audio and videotape your police encounter, and never answer any questions (invoke your RIGHT to remain silent) regardless of the circumstances. Period.
