IT’S SUNSHINE WEEK!

         The following three Right-to-Know requests were emailed to the city today:
 
—   A copy of the signed Separation Agreement Between the City of Lancaster and former city police officer Brittany Porreca. Her disability application was approved by city council at their February 23rd meeting and it was stated her disability coverage would begin on March 1, 2021.

 —  A copy of the signed settlement agreement between the City of Lancaster and MAW Communications regarding LanCity Connect, etal. This was approved by the city council at their February 23rd, 2021 meeting.
 *
—  A copy of the ledger of all payments made to attorney Barry Handwerger of the law firm of Zimmerman, Pfannebecker, Nuffort & Albert from when he was made the in-house city solicitor in March of 2019 through February 28th, 2021.

       Yes, that’s what Lancaster needs – more artwork! Let’s not talk about crime or unsolved murders. No. Let’s have more artwork!

    Are they planning to spend that money painting ON the asphalt or on a building at the intersection? I give it two months if it’s on the asphalt before it’s worn through.

    I don’t believe painting pictures on the street is conducive to safe driving. One cannot be paying attention to what is going on around you and gawk at street art at the same time while driving.

      They are alot more aesthetically pleasing and less distractive to
      drivers than the new flashing billboards in Manor Township.

      Yes. But it takes people’s minds off issues like; crime, unsolved homicides, blight, homeless people, high property taxes. Art above issues. Elect a Mayor dick clone, get a Mayor dick agenda.
