* The microphones had been turned down low — so low that many citizens gathered inside the rural eastern Lancaster County municipal building couldn’t hear what their elected officials were deliberating or voting on.
Justin Stoltzfus remembers this small, but telling, detail about East Earl Township nearly a decade ago.
The opening two paragraphs from LNP Executive Editor Tom Murse’s column today (click here).
You’re going to go back ten years, Murse? Are you serious? Did you forget about Manheim Township? Remember? You whined and fussed about School Board President William Murry and the board breaking the Sunshine Law. And he is suing LNP and your lying, sorry butt.
You carried on about executive sessions of the school board for months and demanded Murry’s resignation multiple times. The Lancaster City Council has had two executive sessions in the last month. They were announced after the fact and council president Ismail Smith-Wade-El was evasive about what they concerned. But LNP has not said one word or even stated that council had executive sessions.
You know what, Murse? You should resign. You are a disgrace to journalism.
