PUTTING ON A SHOW!

Lancaster Detective, now Captain, Todd Umstead going door to door with seven other detectives in the 200 block of West Vine Street supposedly looking for information on the brutal murder of 83-year-old Erma Kaylor that happened four months earlier in her home on the block. What a show those detectives put on and WGAL ate it up (click here). What a sad joke.
There will be more to come.

*     The York Daily Record has begun a series on unsolved murders in York County (click here).  Please note the last item in their below list of ways to give tips to the police. Good for you, Mayor!
Remember when LNP was also doing a series on unsolved murders? And then executive editor Tom Murse fired  reporter Tom Knapp and that was the end of that!

WHAT ABOUT THE KNIFE?

The NLCRPD the investigation is now concluded with a reasonable degree of certainty with the finding extensive injuries were self-inflicted by the victim within his own course of conduct.
The final sentence to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department’s (NLCRPD) press release on the vicious stabbing on September 9th of this year (click here).
Do you know what is missing from this report? The knife! There is absolutely no information about the knife.
Please check back later today.

Well him and his buddy seemed like good guys with no record. Now the female with them is a different story. She has a rap sheet back to 2009 for dumb shit. It’s like I say Becky. If your gonna ride around using and selling drugs and getting into drunken fights on a suspended license you better have a current inspection sticker !

That’s a real shame and I remember when it happened. It was and still is a bad part of town. No Snitch mentality ! I thought when they pulled up some video someone might talk. I used to enjoy the Strawberry Hill Restaurant , but coming out of there at night wasn’t worth it.

What knife? You can stab yourself with a pen! There is absolutely no mention of a “knife” anywhere bu here. Why wasn’t he charged with drug possession, though?

  4. Earl says:

You would think they’d mention the knife. Also his employer. The employer either really cares about his worker and needs him or realizes the guy has mental issues. Guess we’ll see .
