I believe it was last year that a commenter to this site said, “I don’t believe it” about the amount raised during the Extraordinary Give. I was tempted to agree but withheld my thoughts. Not this year! From the LNP article there is this (click here):
By the time the clock struck midnight at the end of this year’s Extraordinary Give, there was a new fundraising record.
The one-day event raised $13.4 million as of Saturday morning, passing last year’s total of $10.9 million.
…30,357 individual contributors donated to organizations in Lancaster County, up by almost 400 from last year.
That means that the 30,357 contributors gave an average of $441.00 apiece. I don’t believe it.

Could it be that large corporations donate money to their own shell companies for tax write off‘s? Could it be?

Something is going on and it’s not right. With covid and job losses and food insecurity, I do not believe it. I simply do not believe it!

But yet we have a community of houseless people living on the street. The only make it harder on these people take away bathrooms and making it illegal to give them food ! It’s illegal to give someone food in Binns Park the have signs posted saying just that.

They can say whatever they want but it would be an unconstitutional law. But take a picture of those signs and make them go viral. Bad for biz and $$ is the only language these people speak.
