10-29-2020 – LIP News will not publish today. Please check back tomorrow!

Esh will be on probation for two years and must perform 25 hours of community service aimed at informing the Amish community on mandated reporting. His attorney’s office declined comment Tuesday.
From the below LNP story on Amish Bishop Levi Esh (click here).
Why doesn’t LNP name his attorney? It is on his docket sheet. They do this over and over with judges and defense attorneys. Why? The public has a right and need to know! In this case it was Alan Goldberg of Goldberg & Beyer – again!
LNP has now moved this story off the homepage of their website because they don’t want tourists to find out the truth about the Amish. The exchange below was on LNP’s Facebook page under the story and that is city council woman and candidate for Scott Martin’s state Senate seat Janet Diaz responding to a commenter (she was not at last night’s city council meeting):

    * This is absolutely unbelievable! City Council had problems livestreaming their meetings for over a year and LNP never said a word (see below and the originals on this site are here and here). See Mayor Sorace gave them millions of dollars of public money for their for-profit, off the tax-rolls Marriott Hotel so they never call her or her administration out for anything! it is an absolute disgrace to journalism. You better leave LNP fast, reporter Carter Walker, before they totally corrupt you! Click here for Walker’s story shown at left.

A man was shot and killed and a woman injured in a shooting in the 500 Block of Manor Street last night (click here for the police press release).

Was Council President Ismail Smith Wade-El “high” for last night’s city council meeting (click here for the video on the city’s YouTube channel)? And in the ultimate hypocrisy, LNP goes after the Manheim Township Commissioners for a live-stream fail when this site documented a year of city council fails and LNP didn’t say a word! It’s all about the money!
Please check back later today.

Who was the judge who sentenced the Amish man?

  2. Anonymous says:

Drug test City Council. Or would “Izzy” scream racism? His mother Rita did when she didn’t get her own way.

    • Anonymous says:

The name is Council Person Wade-El. Your name calling while council person Wade El is making a positive impact on the community, That includes for those persons of color who are marginalized in this oppressive society.

      • Anonymous says:

And Izzy is his nickname, probably given to him by his mother, used by his green dream, stand up and other cohorts.

      • Anonymous says:

Not everyone agrees that he is making any positive impact in our community, That includes persons of color who do not feel that they are marginalized, oppressed or victims. There really are some people of color that have risen above the aforementioned feelings.

        • Anonymous says:

The Caucasians at wheatland have privileges over students of color at hand, there’s no denying it.

      • Anonymous says:

And that positive impact would be______________

      • Anonymous says:

Once again. What positive impact has “Izzy” made on Lancaster?

        • Anonymous says:

Go to council person Wade-Els FB page, they does a lot for the lgbtq+ community in Lancaster to protect make us a protected class. Minority owned business are booming especially in the SE. look at all the business, restaurants, industry, bike lanes, ecological gardens and parks, community nights, it’s a pleasure working and living in this community for our elected Democrats in the City!! Now on to changing the paradigm (chief/leadership) of what has been an oppressive LCP to the persons of color in our City over the decades.

I’m still waiting for you to list Izzy’s positive impact on Lancaster.

It’s a crime infested shithole, like the rest of the county with its Amish sexual predators, more disgusting puppy mills than anywhere else on earth, poorly trained cops, corrupt police chiefs and politicians and well-connected amorals (think: Epstein), corrupt d.a. and judges and newspaper all circuitously positioned in one large circle jerk. So don’t expect anything to change anytime soon. If ever.

What happened in Philadelphia last night is what happened in Lancaster. Mentally ill man with a knife, cops aware of the circumstances, and pow pow pow the man is dead.

How does Lancaster continue to fly under the radar??

    • Gregorywasmyfriend says:

I asked that same question after Gregory Bayne was murdered by police, who then planted a knife on him. The cover up continued with Craig Stedman gaslighting a victim with alleged “mental illness”. And there is your answer – a corrupt district attorney who is now a judge.

They are never going to find a Chief. Who is gonna want to run through that gamut of a hiring process. It sounds like something from a crazy reality show. The job is insanely stressful, there is an almost a zero percent chance of succeeding in it with the mixed and contradictory expectations that are currently being foisted onto police. Maybe Izzy will apply for it…

  6. Anonymous says:

LOL, Izzy probably was high. I’ve heard he usually is. What the hell he just runs the city.

    • Anonymous says:

I’d be high on life if I were him too. He has successfully completely commandeered the Lancaster city govt and the Lancaster county Democratic Party. Patrick Hopkins is his personal man-puppy who barks and begs for treats on command. Things are looking pretty good for him.

      • Becky says:

Oh, he wasn’t high on life! He was drinking a dark liquid but I’m not talking alcohol here – I’m talking smoking Mary Jane!

        • Anon says:

He may have a medical marijuana card. I wish going to a meeting stoned was the biggest problem in Manor Township. They don’t livestream meetings so no one finds out what really goes on there. Sunshine laws are non-existant. Everything is done behind closed doors and public meetings are never advertised and last between about 11 and 24 minutes.

Runs the city participated in riots took down police chief cause he didn’t like the police interfering in riots
