9/13/2020 LANCASTER BUREAU OF POLICE EVENT 2009013716 Officer Involved Shooting 300 BLK. LAUREL ST. On Sunday September 2020 at approximately 1615 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to a residence on the 300 blk. Laurel St. for a report of an in-progress domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on-scene a few moments later. There was an Officer Involved Shooting (OIS). Preliminary information received indicates that an adult male is deceased. The male was reportedly armed with a knife at the time of the shooting. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office and their Investigators have been notified and responding to assume the lead in the investigation. As per the District Attorney’s Office protocol, OIS within Lancaster County are investigated by their office and Investigators. All future press inquiries should be directed to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
