DECEPTIVE HEADLINES & TERRIBLE REPORTING!
I am tired of these deceptive headlines by LNP. His sentence is three to ten years with credit for time served! He could be out in far less than three years! And speaking of the Public Defenders Office, the DA’s office doesn’t mention the defense so LNP is too lazy to look it up – but according to his docket he was represented by Maryjean Glick of the Public Defenders Office. Click here for LNP’s rewrite of the DA’s press release.
*** Assistant District Attorney Fritz Haverstick, in a sentencing memo, said the abuse “wasn’t every day, but it was a lot,” quoting to the victim’s report. From the DA’s press release by Brett Hambright, “LANCASTER MAN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON FOR YEARS OF SEXUAL ABUSE OF GIRL,” (click here).
What in the world? He abused her for four years! What does “every day” have to do with anything? This is absolutely disgusting!
** Maybe ace LNP reporter Dan Nephin can tell the public what took the police so long to release the photos of this auto thief (click here for the police press release). And why don’t we see more images from the Safety Coalition cameras? Why, Dan? I’ve been asking that question for years, Dan! Can you explain it to me?
* Maybe LNP reporter Dan Nephin could do a follow-up on the below update (click here). Twenty-three year old William Deliz died of his injuries after being shot last Wednesday. Will the Lancaster City Police remove the killer from the streets or will this murder go unsolved?
A LNP REPORTER BRAGS!
LNP reporter Dan Nephin is middle-aged. He has been a reporter for most of his adult life and states he worked for the Associated Press. And this man is going to brag about this LNP article on his Facebook page (click here)? You have to be kidding me. This is pathetic.
And this is no offense to the subject of Nephin’s piece, Christopher Tallarico, who comes across as caring, knowledgeable and professional.
