Gee, LNP opinion editor Suzanne Cassidy, maybe the Biden campaign knows that LNP is a joke and a lie as a news organization. After all, there is a damning book about you by a former County Commissioner that exposes your unethical and illegal actions for years – “Pressed” (click here for the book on Amazon).
And the beginning of this editorial talks about the police and demanding transparency (click here). And yet, LNP has not demanded the names of the officers who killed two people in Lancaster in the last few years including an 18-year-old the police followed for several minutes and then executed.
And LNP has not demanded to know who shot and killed Tony Torrellas in April of 2019.
LNP is an absolute disgrace to journalism and apparently the Biden campaign knows it!
Please check back later today.

Alleging “racial slurs at officers” as an excuse is nothing more than a white police chief playing a race card he doesn’t have a right to use.
Responding to the alleged slurs with pepper spray is like bringing a gun to a tomato throwing fight. Real leadership there….. I wanna know what idiot made that call?

I agree that Craig Stedman withholding the names of cops who’ve killed is f*cked up.

Proper according to who? A judgemental Canadian ex-pat? Lancaster is pronounced sh*t-hole according to this resident. Seriously…who but you would care about THAT, with all the bullsh*t going on here???

If only Cable News’ coverage of Mr. Biden’s visit had learned the proper way to pronounce ‘Lancaster.’

Well, I guess LNP got the message.

Poor LNP has been extremely dedicated to shilling the corporatist Neoliberal agenda Biden represents. Biden OWEd them an invite.

Funny. Look at all these red votes. China Trade Act of 2000.

Biden voted for this. This is also from the era when the corporatist neocons controlled the Republican Party aka between the Bush regimes.

The populist wing of the democratic Democratic Party, aka Bernie sanders, was defeated in the primary. After George W discredited neoconservatism with his disastrous foreign wars and economic collapse, the corporatists had a cultural facelift and now neoliberalism is ascendant in corporate owned media. I think it’s funny that LNP thought they would be rewarded for playing along, but national big time media couldn’t care less if they existed or not.

Why not a word from you or anyone else about Lancaster Police using teargas on protesters becaus they were calling them names?

    • Anonymous says:

      When did this happen?

      • Anonymous says:

It happened a couple days into the protest, after the president judge (Ashworth) didn’t succeed in scaring the protesters away by lying to LNP and telling them one of the protesters had Covid. The paper got used (manipulated…again!) – or diverted – ran an editorial about the pepper spray and ran the “explanation” from the police chief as an attachment to the earlier story they had about the mace – which will def. spread c-19 if anyone has it. The police chief’s excuse that the officers’ were being called racial slurs is ridiculous, and completely unacceptable – even if true. Ashworth, Mayor Sorace and Chief Berkihiser all need to step down. Pure CORRUPTION and evil trying to silence people like that!

The LPD just wanted to look like the big guys. Being called racial slurs meant pepper spray? Those poor widdle snowflake officers.

LNP is not very bright either. After the Trump truck was made to move away from the rec center vicinity it received cheers, honks, thumbs up the entire way through Lancaster and out the Fruitville Pike. Now that was a story, they should have had a reporter follow it.
