LINDY SUE BIECHLER’S KILLER?

District Attorney Craig Stedman is having a press conference today at 2:30 pm at the Manor Township Police Department with updates on an unsolved murder.
Lindy Sue Biechler was murdered on December 5, 1975 in Millersville when she was 19-years-old and had recently married. She was sexually assaulted and stabbed 11 times.
LNP and other media outlets will be livestreaming the press conference. Will Stedman announce Biechler’s killer?
Click here for the 2018 LNP article, “Arrest in Mirack murder lifts hopes of resolution for Lindy Sue Biechler, killed 42 years ago in Manor Township,” and check back later today.

He knows. He’s just playing for a big reveal like the Mirack case.

Parabon would also have told him which of the DNA results were his father’s. The Y DNA since this is a man’s DNA left behind. Based on previous stories involving DNA evidence, the LNP reporter’s have proven to be clueless and ignorant of how this all works and don’t have the know how to ask pertinent questions.

1975?! He couldnt solve anything from the early 90’s and up? This evidence he had all these years that went by. Anyway, Im happy for the family.

Why say. Isn’t Stedman also running for judge and the election just around the corner? Wow! Talk about your coincidence’s.

  3. huh? says:

Of COURSE it will be a beautiful girl gone too soon.

If it is Erma Kaylor, who would care? Beauty will help the Beast in his election bid.

    • Becky says:

It’s being held in the Manor Township Police Department. That is obviously a huge clue.

He’s trying to get people focused on this as opposed to him reducing Amish child molester’s bail from $2million, to $500k unsecured. Yep. David Stoltzfus Smucker has 24 counts against him. Stedman not only went along with bail reduction, but a transfer for Smucker out of Lancaster County Prison, to Whispering Hope. That’s an unsecured facility for male Amish sex offenders. LNP hasn’t followed up (duh) on the status of the case.

It would be wonderful if this is the case. However, I am disgusted (whatever he is going to reveal) that Stedman is grandstanding again and using this as another stepping stone on his perceived path to judgeship.

    • Old & Canadian says:

      Educate me, please……

How does one call a press conference and that is automatically determined to be grandstanding? Shall the DA not hold a press conference for breaking news and just move on with his day with no comments or factual information for media outlets to share?

The poor dear is in a catch 22. If he has big news and he acts like it’s just another day in The office he would be accused of not caring or providing no info to the public. If he calls a press conference to inform, he is grandstanding.

Heavens….the man has no real competition for judge. Even the Dems know their candidate is a bust. Goodness, he was old when I was young and the stretch marks and wrinkles on me are a road map that I have surpassed any of my youth.

Let’s choose to agree to disagree and ask our spiritual guides to bring closure to a family today.

  5. Old & Canadian says:

Heavens…..can you imagine if closure and peace is actually found for her family? It begs the question as to why this DNA stuff was not utilized prior to recently. Assuming it has been around for a bit but I have no knowledge of how any of this stuff works. Just keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we have some good news for this family.

Reason is that the DNA database gedmatch only came into being in the past few years. CODIS existed but if someone only committed one crime that left DNA, their DNA won’t match anyone. Gedmatch is a public database. Hope this helps.
