—  Resting up for tonight’s city council meeting at 7:30 pm. The livestream should be available on the city’s YouTube channel (click here).
I will come back to MAW later this week.

**   While on the topic of politics, this just in from F&M. Let’s fervently hope Trump does not win re-election and this turns out to be true: “…the Trump presidency will probably be remembered as a bizarre interruption in normal American politics, an asterisk rather than an era.”

*    LNP has a nasty attack piece on Lancaster Stands Up today (click here). It turns out there’s a back story to this piece – I was sent the below email from the Republican Committee of Lancaster County (the opinion piece noted above was in the body of the email but is not included here):

Two men were shot in the city last night (click here for the police press release).
A very important order was issued yesterday in the MAW vs. PP&L case (click here to read the order).

There is a city council meeting tonight at 7:30 pm with a very long and important agenda (click here).
It’s going to be a busy day! Please check back later today.

LNP as well as WGAL show their true colors by give print space and air-time to G. Terry Democrat.

There is nothing unbiased about his polling or articles………the same can be said for both LNP and WGAL.

The Republican Committee is trashing LNP as a favor to D.A. Craig Stedman – which is why they went out of their way NOT to mention him – and let Smucker take one for the team. (He has already been re-elected.) Corrupt Craig is scared to death the paper will FULLY expose him before November – which would derail his career and possibly, put him behind bars. So they are sounding the “fake news” trumpet in what will be a failed effort to “shoot the messenger. Say what you want about LNP…They are right on Stedman’s tail. So much corruption – so little time.

Whatever else the Trump presidency is, there is no way it can ever be called “normal.” As for the person who said that President T. has kept so many of his promises, I must have missed the day when Mexico sent a check for the wall. I will admit that the Trump years has held up a mirror to the soul of America, and I’ll leave it to you to figure out what that means. Try to enjoy your summer, folks, and stay calm inside.

Like Trump or hate him…….. doesn’t matter. But the past 3 years have been the greatest entertainment watching the news. Again, like him or hate him, i dont care – but he has to have the highest rate at accomplishing campaign promises, and that what is driving the news machine insane. I find it absolutely hysterical watching his tweets, and the left and the right both taking his click bait.

The only people who don’t like Trump are the ones who didn’t vote for him in the first place. I’ve yet to meet someone who voted for Trump who regrets it.

I think the shoe polish the Terryman uses on his hair has seeped into his brain. He, like so many of the other experts totally called the 2016 election wrong. Analyzing what he wants the outcome to be as opposed to reality. Trump will win the presidency in 2020, and he’ll win for the same reasons he won in 2016. The system that stole the lives of the middle class doesn’t like Trump. Wealthy politicians-both Republican and Democrat parties don’t like Trump. Whiney snowflakes, p*ssed off liberals, the people who worship at the alter of socialism, don’t like Trump. That’s good enough for them to cast their vote for Trump once again.

  6. huh? says:

Who is footing the bill for the MAW vs. PPL lawsuit?

  7. Ellen Pee says:

In all fairness, it’s been over two years and LNP has yet to ask mayor Dickina a real question.

  8. huh? says:

Went to the link And sure enough it was the opinion piece by John Koons. Says he’s a grad student at Elizabethtown College.

Would love to see what monies he accepted from the government to pay for college. Wonder how old he is and if he stays or stayed on his parents health insurance under the dreaded Obamacare. And on and on. Methinks he is projecting to take the focus from himself.

  9. huh? says:

That republican committee letter is a combination of threat, scare tactics, and third grade logic bullshit.

So I guess if I click on the link it will take me to the opinion piece? Let’s see…
