The police have finally released a video of possible suspects in the Father’s Day murder of Anthony Marshall. If you recognize any of these individuals please contact the police immediately as indicated in the video.

*     What a slanted, ridiculous article by LNP “reporter” Tim Stuhldreher (click here). Please see the post immediately below this one for Police Chief Jarrad Berkihiser’s opening remarks stating his officers find it easier to charge under the crimes code. A lot of numbers were thrown around in the question and answer period that followed and again, I hope to bring a transcript of that to you soon. But again, you can watch it for yourself (click here).

$3,000 BAIL

Angela Benedict

A woman [Angela Benedict], under the influence of drugs, left her infant daughter alone in the woods of southern Lancaster County for more than three hours on Monday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
…Around 12:34 a.m., a firefighter heard a child crying and found the 17-month-old in 1 inch of water in a drainage ditch within 50 feet of a retention pond, according to police.
From the LNP article, “Mother charged with leaving her infant daughter alone in woods of southern Lancaster County,” (click here).
Her bail is $3,000 cash. She endangered her baby’s life at least as much as Emmanuella Osei who gave birth on a toilet. Osei was denied bail because they claimed she was a flight risk when all they had to do was take her passport.
And let’s no forget Ashley Gaston who is sitting in jail on $50,000 cash bail for kicking – okay – stomping on – a dog she claims bit her child.
The racism in Lancaster County is astounding!
On a lighter and more reasonable note, city council voted last night to allow Susan Hoover to use fiber-cement siding on the dormers of her gorgeous home at 204 E. King Street – going against the Historical Commission’s denial recommendation.
Please check back later today.

  1. Jay says:

In Re: Angela Benedict the reason is why her bail is Lower is because Magisterial District Judge David P. Miller this is his Last term of office so he Don’t care what bail he gives White People but see what he gives the other’s Non- White Bail Is set at.

  2. HowItREALLYIs says:

Interesting how police (administrators) can, so easily, release a video of a judge doing what the rest of us WISH we could do when we get pulled over for absolutely nothing but they hold onto video like this until AFTER d.a. and judge wanna-be Craig Stedman grandstands at a news conference blaming the PUBLIC for police and county detectives not being able to “solve” serious crimes or bring charges that will “hold up in court”. I’m calling bullshit on that because he “successfully” prosecuted me for alleged trespassing based on nothing more than perjured testimony and forged evidence BY A COP! And guess who controls what info ALL police departments in Lancaster County give to the news media…and WHEN? Craig “I want to be YOUR judge” Stedman! Hell…the last time I cooperated with police, I reported a guy for threatening to shoot my dog and Manor Township police charged ME with “harassment”. The ONLY reason Stedman dropped the charge was because the guy shot and killed another neighbor’s dog before my case went to trial. You know….when it was in HIS best interest. I highly do NOT recommend “cooperating with police” in ANY investigation – no matter how much the information is gnawing at your conscience – as long as Craig Stedman is district attorney and Lancaster County police chiefs support his run for the bench. Absolutely no good, whatsoever, can come from dealing with such a snake. And police and the public and victims and the victims’ families have no one to blame for that but Craig Stedman, himself.

  3. huh? says:

Un-f*cking-believable. Place those two cases side by side and don’t tell me that Benedict’s actions were less egregious.

BTW, considering that Osei is from Ghana where much emphasis is placed on women not embarrassing their families, I read the quotes from a male relative who essentially said that. I believe that it wouldn’t be too far fetched to read between those lines.
