A RAPID RISE
AND A HARD FALL
Never heard of this guy. Doesn’t sound like one of Lancaster’s finest.
This comment in.
I only “knew” him through Facebook – and his life was so huge and he had all these “influential” friends – policemen, firemen, city officials, etc. – that he stood out.
I’m not sure he’s a bad guy. He’s a millennial who used all his social media skills and vast charm (and I believe a lot of lies) to rise to the top of the real estate market in New York City at a very young age. And then he crashed.
And he returned to Lancaster and he is using his social skills again – getting on city boards and being a member of the Hamilton Club to hobnob with the rich and powerful in the city.
But in his current situation, he needs to get his act together, take care of his properties and pay his taxes and advise the public why he should be on the Fire Code Board of Appeals
There will be more tomorrow.
* Four of his properties are on the Delinquent Tax Report (he actually owns seven properties in Lancaster County) – see below and click here.
FROM REAL ESTATE HOTSHOT
TO DELINQUENT LANDLORD?
[Editor’s Note: This is the breaking news story I was going to run two Sunday’s ago. As noted yesterday, because I had been his Facebook “friend” for years (he asked me), I was aware of Jabbour and his seemingly fabulous life (click here for a brief biography). So, I gave him the chance to respond to my story.
What a week. This man could charm a snake. The lengths he went to to prevent the below from being published are astounding. There will be more later today.]
*** BREAKING NEWS ***
The above is from the agenda for the July 1st city council committee meeting. Please note the second personnel item: Nick Jabbour for reappointment to the Fire Code Board of Appeals. Jabbour attended the meeting and briefly answered several questions.
