MONKEYING AROUND?From the “Monkey Man” website (click here).

I was going to go with “serious” news on this rainy Monday morning until I spotted this absolutely bizarre opinion piece as a lead story on Lancaster Online (click here).
And this comes after a huge public outcry and felony charges over a woman kicking a dog that allegedly bit her child over the weekend.
The author of this piece is a professor? Why would LNP run this? I am almost speechless. Do I have an opinion on the “monkey man?” Not after reading this! All of the monkey’s “teeth were removed when she was an infant?” That is most certainly cruelty. This piece is just off the wall!
Please check back later today for serious news.

I agree Craig Stedman has no ethics, integrity or credibility and is not qualified – or honest enough – to be county dogcatcher. But magisterial district judges set bail – NOT the d.a. Some Lancaster County magisterial judges are outright corrupt and engage in ex parte communications – particularly former assistant district attorneys who worked under Stedman. Other magisterial district judges – particularly ex-cops with no formal education beyond Act 120 and UJS training – are just plain stupid. Some MDJ’s are corrupt AND stupid. A handful are neither.

In high profile cases, the DA’s office has a tremendous influence on the district judges and the bail they set. A member of the DA’s office was directly involved in this case and the DA was hoping this would make him look good to the “POS” and “kick her ass” crowd. And if you don’t think the DA’s office had a voice in the bail amount you are kidding yourself.

      From the police press release:
Det. Joanne Resh of the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office specializes in cases involving animal cruelty. Det. Resh responded to the Lancaster Bureau of Police station to assist.

So monkey man gets to knock out all the monkeys teeth so she wont bite no one & he can pimp her out at every get together to make a living. Then when he dies they cant put her back in the wild because she has no teeth or skills to survive alone.

    Whew. I read this article.

I always get a good laugh when someone uses the word Calvary in place of Cavalry.

The proms may be over but we are still, maybe, the home of the only egg vending machine. Why is the tourist bureau not hyping this to the max?

Well. Prom season is over. LNP’s recap of prom season has been run. Memorable prom moments are done. Send us your prom pictures have been sent. What else is there?

  6. Becky says:

I wonder if DA Stedman will charge the “monkey man?”

  7. my goodness says:

LOL, LNP ran this one because they were overwhelmed and incapable of dealing with the fall out from the dog beater story (which they picked from WPMT). They need a break to recuperate.
