UPDATE – SHE “GAVE” THE DA TWO VEHICLES!

I am still trying to figure out the dates in all of this. Edwin Mowrer was arrested by Lebanon County police on September 16, 2016 for serious drug crimes – two counts of drug delivery resulting in death and other charges. He was found guilty by a Lebanon County jury  on January 24, 2018 and sentenced on June 27, 2018. He currently has an appeal before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
His wife, Ivy Denise Mowrer, has no criminal record in Pennsylvania. So why did she sign over two vehicles and cash to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office on April 15, 2016? I am still trying to find out.

SHE HAS NO CRIMINAL RECORD

HER HUSBAND WAS
CHARGED IN LEBANON COUNTY

Why did Ivy Denise Mowrer sign over her 2006 Honda Civic, her 2005 Cadillac Escalade and $1,067 in cash to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office?
Please check back later today.

Too funny. I wrote the comment above about contract’s being unenforceable unless there is consideration for both parties, then saw attorney Marinaro’s response to you, number 3: “3. It is of utmost importance in any contract that both parties are on the same page and acting in good faith. ” You should ask him what he thinks of these civil forfeiture “contracts”. He is a very good criminal defense lawyer and his comments would be worth hearing.

I thought a contract is unenforceable unless there is something in it for both parties. That is a very one-sided agreement. She had to have had a gun to her head to sign that!

VIN numbers are traceable. Who got possession of the cars after they took them?
