“UNIQUE VALUES”

From today’s LNP editorial on gambling (click here).

*    Would someone ask the LNP editorial board what those unique Lancaster County values are? Ask them to make a specific list! It is unbelievably egotistical, ridiculous and stupid!
I’ve written about this before – and so has LNP editor Tom Murse (click here for the original). Tell them to stop, Tom!

*****

ARE THEY AT THAT POINT?

From the last article LNP wrote about the homicide of Tony Torrellas on April 29th, “Coroner makes ruling in Lancaster man’s shooting death; DA’s office, police investigate,” (click here).

Has the DA’s office completed their “assessment of all circumstances and existing law?” Isn’t this their job every single day? What is taking so long? It’s been over three weeks! Will anyone demand answers?
There will be more later today.     If you followed yesterday’s post and comments, Lancaster Stands Up held a forum with the candidates for District Judge in the city’s Northeast (click here). You can view your sample ballot for tomorrow’s primary (click here).
Please check back later today.

Lancaster County values? Embracing the myth that the county has none of the evils of the outside world and life here is like an Amish Brady Bunch-without the pedophilia and puppy mills.

Four shootings in Langcrapster yesterday. Great leadership Mayor Dickina!

I see four people were shot today.

It makes you wonder if street justice is at work. The longer the DAs office sits and spins…

What a special and unique place _______ is. Fill in the blank. Everywhere I’ve lived the same thing could have been said. Or was said. It’s ironic that the places I have lived that WERE special places were that way because it happened from the ground up. Places that pasted “specialness” onto a community from the top down weren’t special at all.
