Yes, it’s all-out war between Stedman and the county and Stedman and LNP (click here for the latest LNP story with the above headline in print). This is remarkable and deeply disturbing.
From the story there is this (Stedman’s filing is not yet on the Prothonotary’s site):
Stedman, in his filing Friday, says the commissioners’ explanation is faulty because case law has established that a district attorney has complete control of seized assets and a county may not consider those assets for budgeting purposes.
You are paid by and work for the public, Stedman. Everyone has a right to know what happened to seized assets.
And LNP managing editor Tom Murse is waiting for Stedman to “correct the record:”
“Please let me know as soon as possible how you and your office intend to correct the record,” Murse added.
Stedman has been making a fool of himself and the District Attorney’s office non-stop for several weeks now. When will the Republicans remove him as a candidate for judge?
