From the LNP editorial of February 19th (click here).

Why isn’t LNP demanding answers? Is there a tape of Tuesday night’s meeting and if so, why isn’t it posted? Did the city take this over to shut it down?
There will be much more tomorrow.

A comment posted on Lancaster Online under today’s article, “Lancaster police disciplined 27 officers in 2018, including 1 termination,” (click here).

That puts the situation in context. LNP reporter Tim Stuhldreher begins his article with this sentence:
Lancaster city police Chief Jarrad Berkihiser put last year’s number of civilian complaints in context in his report to City Council on Tuesday.
Stuhldreher is a terrible reporter and slants everything for the city and keeps the public in the dark about MAW Communications and other crucially important items. That is why it is so important that these meetings be livestreamed.
I have emailed Amber Strazzo and all of the city council members this morning asking when the livestream of Tuesday’s meeting, including Police Chief Jarrad Berkihiser’s report, will be available for public viewing.

Easy answer: they took it over to shut it down.
This comment in yesterday about the city livestreaming their meetings.
Tuesday night’s city council livestream is still not up on the city’s YouTube channel (click here). Is Amber Strazzo lying to me? She told me in an email published here yesterday that it would be up by yesterday afternoon. Where is it?
Please check back later today.

Stedman has brass balls and this is not going to go well for him. He can dish it out but he sure can’t take it. He has ALOT to hide and has freely defamed innocent people for more than a decade by abusing his authority. AND freely wasted taxpayer money, in the process. (Think Jayne Duncan, for one). And the lawyers and judges have let him. Of course he doesn’t want anyone “encroaching on his authority”. He has run a criminal organization in the County with complete autonomy and no oversight for more than a decade. Wait until you see how many people he throws under the bus as he tries to cover his ass – judges included. This ain’t about a $21,000 car lease, I promise you. Too bad the scrutiny didn’t come 5-years ago. “Slander, per se”, my ass. Also, it is impossible for county commissioners to “impugn” his “credibility”. To those who truly know him, he has none. NONE. ZERO. ZIPPO. NADA.

Whatever he’s hiding must be big for him not to be playing the great baby kissing candidate.

    Back it up

Do you ever get responses from anyone on council?

Wait! They fire Bronstetter prior to adjudication pf his case, resulting in costly litigation for the city w/the police union, but they kept Corll on the payroll ad nauseum? Plus they throw Bronstetter under the bus in his criminal case by conducting their own investigation into the allegations against him and finding they are “founded”? WTF? Yet Corll lied for years and they and Stedman KNEW it! How many other people remain in jail because of Corll’s repeated perjury? He left far more victims in his wake than Bronstetter. Plus….who is prosecuting Bronstetter? It better be the A.G.’s office and not Stedman’s office. Guilty or not, they really f*cked this guy.

According to Bronstetter’s docket, there is a status conference scheduled with Judge David Ashworth for March 28th. He is being prosecuted by ADA Christine Wilson of the Lancaster DA’s office. He is represented by Public Defender Anthony Damiano. The simple assault charges and the animal cruelty charge have been combined.
