*** The police have now corrected their press release to read (see the link below):
     On 17 November 2017, Off. Bronstetter took a report of a rape that occurred at Franklin & Marshall College.
      So, what took almost a year?

**   WGAL is reporting that the alleged rape did occur almost one year ago in November (click here).

*   There are obviously some mistakes in the Lancaster Police release. November 17, 2018 has not yet come and now it is not clear exactly when the alleged crimes happened. His docket states 11/11/17. We will see if that stands.

    The Lancaster Police just released the following (click here):

     After receiving necessary documentation from Franklin & Marshall College, Det. Harnish filed a Criminal Complaint against Felicius Bucyukundi M/22 of Louisville, KY before MDJ Sponaugle. Bucyukundi was charged with (2) Counts Rape, (2) Counts Sexual Assauly, (3) Counts Aggravated Indecent Assault and (3) Counts Indecent Assault.      Bucyukundi was taken into custody in Kentucky and extradited to Lancaster County. He arrived at the Lancaster Bureau of Police station on 20 October 2018. He was processed on the Criminal Complaint and held for arraignment. MDJ Hamil arraigned him for MDJ Sponaugle. Bucyukundi was committed to LCP in lieu of $200,000 bail.
     All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

  1. Anonymous says:

    The DA’s release says the following: “On 17 November 2018, Off. Bronstetter took a report of a rape that occurred at Franklin & Marshall College.” Either that should read 17 November 2017 or 17 October 2018. What a screwed up operation. They can’t even get a press release correct. How in the hell can we trust that they charge a person correctly? God have mercy on this young man’s soul.

    • Becky says:

      It’s actually a Lancaster City Police Press release. I initially said the DA but corrected it within about five minutes on this site. That is a ridiculous, glaring error!

  2. Also Anon says:

    1. One has to wonder why charges were not brought sooner if l.e. truly believes he raped a woman;

    2. They must not have thought he was a threat to other women and/or they didn’t care;

    3. I don’t think F and M has a law school.

  3. anonymous says:

    huh?: please remember two very important things.

    1. He is innocent until proven guilty. We’ll see what the alleged facts are when someone gets a copy of the Affidavit of Probable Cause.

    2. We do know that a back man and a white man certainly do not face the same “justice” system here in Stedman’s Lancaster County.

  4. huh? says:

    His last name is Rwandan if I am correct on that. He fits the age group for the horrible things that happened in Rwanda including child soldiers. It always makes me wonder if living in a country like that impairs one’s moral decisions on what is right and what is wrong.

  5. huh? says:

    Off topic: I had no idea that Lloyd Smucker was “Amish born” as the newspaper labels him.

    And what’s this “meet Lloyd Smucker” in the headlines? Strange headline since he’s been around for ages.

  6. Jay says:

    I just Wonder if the Crappy lnp is going to run this or as always seep it under the carpet because we all know that Steinman’s have ties with them.

    • Becky says:

      He was arrested yesterday and arraigned this morning before Magisterial District Judge Nancy G. Hamill according to his docket. LNP has to wait for the DA’s office to confirm – and it’s Sunday – and they can’t do anything without the DA’s approval.

      • Becky says:

        Just a quick note – I was looking for the names of the two people arrested in Columbia when I found the rape charges. The LNP story is extremely “strange” and why haven’t their names been released? The entire “article” from LNP:

        Columbia Borough police have arrested two people for numerous break-ins to unlocked vehicles and a stolen vehicle.
        Police said “numerous” vehicles were entered on the nights of Oct. 18 and Oct. 19.
        Some of the items recovered by police were not from vehicle thefts already reported to police. Police ask people who had thefts from vehicles to report them by calling 717-684-7735 so that stolen items could be returned.
        The stolen vehicle has been recovered.
        Police said they would release the names and charges in the two arrests soon.
