         A preliminary injunction hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30 pm in courtroom #12 before Judge David Ashworth between the city and landlord Dwain London Sr. There is no entry in the Prothonotary’s Office at this time (3:45 pm) as to whether the Judge has accepted Marie Chambers’ Motion to Intervene.

         On June 18th, Marie Chambers through her attorney filed a Motion to Intervene in the city’s injunction request against her landlord Dwain London Sr. as follows:

    1. I hope they allow her to stay until she can find something affordable or some type of assistance that can help her asap. I couldnt imagine being put in that situation.

    2. Agreed! Good for her and her lawyer! I hope there is a landlord out there who will help her!

    3. Maybe Judge A$$wad will take her kids and send them to one of Trump’s detention centers.

    4. Rents in Lancaster have skyrocketed. It is impossible to even rent a studio apartment at a rate that is affordable by low wage earners.

      It would be something if the mayor were to ask / enact a rule that says that all of these multi-million condo and co-op builders also include a minimum number of affordable housing. It is done in many cities where people work as hard as hell but can’t find a place to live.
