    ACT INDEPENDENTLY

         The Society declares these four principles as the foundation of ethical journalism and encourages their use in its practice by all people in all media.
    From the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics (click here).
         One of those four principles, and one named in every Journalism Code of Ethics in this country, is below. LNP is breaking this basic principle every single day!

    ******

    *    From the editorial:

    HE GAVE LNP MONEY!

         Today’s LNP editorial from the print edition (click here to read it online).

         What former Mayor Rick Gray did was give LNP money, money and more money. They should have titled this, “Our Money Years.” What a disgrace! Where’s your journalism code of ethics, LNP?
    Please check back later to day.

    1. LNP has no ethics. They have no shame. They have no sense of community good. They are and always will be greedy, greedy, greedy.

    2. I believe that most of the (CC) opponent’s criticisms have be proven ENTIRELY. The CC CANNOT pay its bills because its net loss is higher than predicted (either due to revenue shortfalls or higher operating expenses or a combination of both) and that is why we are currently working in year 3 (or 4) of the 5-year Martin plan to fill the gaps. What happens in another year or two when the Martin plan expires? These large scale projects, like the ballpark, also struggling, and the PA Academy of Music, already failed, are NOT the answer. the city is moving forward but it is doing so in spite of the actions of “leaders” like Gray and their (strike-out) home-run projects not because of them.

    3. Yeah, that may all be true. But I was driving down Wheatland Avenue and saw one the Steinman’s – the one with the hair – big house, big car, big hair. So in spite of the fact that they are buying off politicians and raping taxpayers, we have that going for us. Take a drive. Check it out!

    4. The hairspray, alone, must cost 100.00 month. That would feed my starving family.
