  • UPDATE – $500,000 FOR A RECOUNT!

    —  So much more to come next week! —

    William E. Cooper, Jr.

William Earl Cooper Jr, of Lancaster, died after he was shot in the early morning hours Oct. 27 in the southeast part of the city, police said.
From the LNP article, “Death of 31-year-old Lancaster man ruled homicide; No arrests as police continue to investigate fatal shooting,” (click here).
Sadly, William Cooper, Jr. will be added to the “UNSOLVED MURDERS” tab above. There is the whole topic of all the unsolved murders in Lancaster County which will be coming. But once again, this murder happened within the view of a Lancaster Safety Coalition camera and nothing has been released to the public to help get a killer off the street. And DA Craig Stedman sits on their Board of Directors! Why isn’t anyone demanding answers? The public helps pay for those cameras! Are all of these killers smarter than the police and Stedman’s detectives?

***  Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman tweeted the below on election day. I have a lot more to say about this – but first – why can’t they offer more than a $1,000 reward? Why? Where’s all that civil forfeiture money, Stedman? This is pathetic!

**  Lancaster County has used civil asset forfeiture extensively, generating $895,273 for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office in the fiscal year that ended in June 2014, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.
From the LNP story, “Report: Pennsylvania gets ‘D-‘ for forfeiture laws,” (click here).
From the LNP story, “County forfeiture income up, but proposed reforms could limit seizures,” (click here).

    *    I am beginning my Stedman list (this will take a very long time):
    —  The Lancaster City Police do not have body cameras because of Craig Stedman (click here).
          —  There is a new Federal Lawsuit against a Lancaster City Police Officer alleging excessive force filed on October 30, 2017: Cindy Dietz v. Daniel Hunsicker & City of Lancaster (click here).

LNP has finally done an update on Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman’s bid to be a Superior Court judge (click here). Nothing has changed. Concede, Stedman!
You are 4,502 votes behind with 99.79% of the vote counted. Do not cost the taxpayers $500,000 for a “recount!” Concede!
    Please check back later today.
