The Lancaster Newspapers and High Industries (Penn Square Partners) have not signed on the dotted line of Commissioner Scott Martin’s Convention Center financing plan.  This is unbelievable greed!  Robert Field of NewsLanc.com even talks about a boycott of LNP (click here).

I wonder who is REALLY running LNP – Peggy or Dale??????

  2. Frank Lee says:

Yeah, but if you were the Gilster, you’d stick to non local issues

  3. Frank Lee says:

Really should change the name to their website to: Lancaster On Lie

  4. Frank Lee says:

Rednek. Puff pieces about the taxpayers being screwed over buy the Con just take up valuable space of real news. Real news like:

“The Sandwich Factory Restaurant In Lancaster Is Now Joni’s”

Frank and Rednek: I received this in an email:

Update: the PSP “collaboration agreement” in which they DEMAND full control of marketing the convention center would last for the entire 99 year “agreement” between the LCCCA and PSP. Even Scott Martin doesn’t like this.

How could anyone “like” or approve this? I know I’m beginning to sound like Gil Smart (horrors!) – but this is an outrage!

  5. Rednek says:

Hi Becky…I have checked throughout the day….never saw it on Lancaster Online…..I guess Dale and Peggy don’t want to read any negative comments from the COUNTY TAXPAYERS that are footing their PROFITS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Frank Lee says:

How about if the Penn Square Perps show all us naybob’s of negativism a thing or two about a thing or two, and put their personal property up for collateral to insure the Con goes full speed ahead! Since it’s suck a great investment, they’ll have the pleasure of dropping a big I TOLD YOU SO! when the profits start rolling in. What say guys? Sound good to you?

  7. Rednek says:

Interesting that this ‘news article’ (PSP advertisement) is not on Lancaster Online. Is that ss readership cannot comment??????

    • Becky says:

Rednek, it is very strange. There’s an article on the front page of the print edition this morning and yet it doesn’t seem to be online anywhere! Things that make you go hmmm. 😛

Your headline here hits the nail squarely on the head!!!!!!!
