The mayor has discussed the matter with the police chief. The police chief has met with college officials. College officials have discussed the matter with representatives of the fraternity chapter.
From the LNP article, “Frat house on probation,” (click here).
This is what Mayor Gray and Police Chief Sadler have been spending their time doing?  Worrying about noise from one frat house in the upsccale F&M neighborhood? This is what city council is spending their time on?  Really?
There are 16 unsolved murders under Mayor Gray in the last eight years and too many unsolved shootings, stabbings, robberies and other crimes to count and this is the big concern?
Some neighborhoods have to worry about constant gun shots, vandalism to their property, being robbed on the street and having their cars or homes broken into. The city was recently named the 13th most dangerous small city in the country and this is what the mayor, the police chief and the city council members spend their time on?  This is sickening!
     From the article:
“We use regular math. One plus one is two,” said Sadler, the police chief.
Wow!  Sadler can do math!  So let’s look at this Chief: One – your ex-wife alleges in a book that you beat her for 20 years; therefore you should not be a police officer let alone a chief, and two – your record has been terrible since you’ve been in Lancaster (see unsolved murders and crimes above); so by the same equation you should be fired immediately!
And sadly, speaking of domestic violence, please note the flyer below for tomorrow’s remembrance for Melissa Joseph who was brutally murdered last Friday by her husband.  The event begins at 6:00 pm in Reservoir Park.
Remember Melissa

As Isaid 3 homes does not constitute a neighborhood!! Behind the frat are city row homes. Across the street are city row homes. There are single expensive homes scattered all over Lancaster city.

  2. huh? says:

I guess I’m living in the middle ages or something but a house that costs $375,000 in the city seems to be upscale don’t you think?

  3. robert says:

There are maybe 3 homes that would be considered upscale. The right side of the street are apartment houses. And 3 homes does not constitute a neighborhood.

  4. my goodness says:

Robert, I beg to differ. True, it is not an F & M neighborhood, but that block of Charlotte St. has ALWAYS been upscale, economically speaking, in comparison with surrounding neighborhood blocks.

    • Becky says:

robert, I am happy to say you are wrong! 😉 I drove down that block twice today (yes, horrors of horrors I’m in town) and it’s upscale!

  5. robert says:

I live a couple of blocks away. It is not an upscale F&M neighborhood!!
