Posted on February 10th, 2013 14 commentsELEVEN LAWYERS!
What do you know? Turns out Paula has a “legal team!” Not to be outdone, I would like to introduce you to the LIPNews legal team! Oops! Looks like they want to have a meeting…on a Sunday…but that’s triple time????
Does it get any better than this? I might - or might not - be back this afternoon!14 responses to “ONE LAWYER, TWO LAWYERS…”

I wonder if Mayor Gray is available? I could add him to my legal team!

Gosh, I wish I was in the know. So many secrets and no one is willing to give answers. Even when I ask a simple question, I get a stupid response.
-
What do you want to know, Shirley? Ask and I will answer!

Actually, if what you want to know is what I’m talking about it’s because Paula sent in yet another comment: Here it is:
I am happy to go away and put this behind me and if Becky is for real that she will no longer be making me a topic of her blogs, I will gladly do so.
I wrote this series to help women from all voer our coutnry deal with and get help for domestic violence, Becky chose to concentrate on one town and one person.
I spoke to Rosa and my legal team advised me to never mention real names in my blog of anyone who was never arrested for a 20 year old offense the statute of limitations ran out on a decade ago.
I wanted to help all women with my blog, not concentrate on one place.
As for my weight loss blog, really? We see pictures on all teh commercials for Jenny Craig of women in their before state in bathing suits. If this picture of me makes you sick, think how I feel which is why I am working to change it.
Anyway if Becky can restrain herself from degrading my blog and making me a topic of hers, I will be very happy to never here her name again.

And I want to add that anyone who suggests brussel sprouts are “fattening” seriously, seriously, seriously needs to have their head examined!
-
What’s fattening is sitting on blogs, facebook and sending stupid comments all day long for days and days on end.

If I was the spelling and grammar police, I would have a full-time job plus overtime for all eternity sorting out that person’s “writing”.
-
I have never had my blood pressure raised to this level. I asked her to go away nicely and she just keeps it up with the emails and comments! The bottom line: she never read the book! She didn’t read it! OMG! Of all the irony – she didn’t read the book!

The whole Rosa thing has me confused. It seems like we are all fighting police corruption, but not on the same team. It confuses me. Especially with Ron Harper, I thought he disliked the police, yet he bashed Rosa’s book. I don’t understand. If the police chief beat her up, and I am assuming she is not lying, why can’t the truth be told. Who are we afraid of?
-
Shirley, the whole thing is getting extremely nasty. The Chief was not adequately vetted. But Rosa also calls him “Poor Mark” in the book and says that she would never talk to the newspaper about him. That has totally changed. I don’t know what is motivating her at this point – but this is nasty! I would like to think she is doing this to “help women,” but I’m really not at all sure anymore. This is intensely personal.
-
Please also note that I agree 100 percent – if he beat her he should not be the police chief. Period.
-
Regarding Ron Harper – he has a very disturbing inability to accept domestic violence. If fact, I was going to go to the video he and Ben Vonderheide did that I linked to several days ago. In that it states in large red type “80% of PFA’s are false.” That’s an absurd number they pulled out of the air and is extremely harmful to women.

Clears it up a little bit. Remember, these are all people I only know through facebook. Ron does live very close to me, but had to take him off my friends list, because he was too obnoxious for my liking. Rosa admitted that her ex-husband abused her, so I don’t understand the confusion, but I have not read the book. I do hope if the accusation are true, it is investigated. I live in Lancaster County, not the city.

You are a smart lady, Shirley. You nailed Ron! There will more on all of this coming.
