     SNOWFLAKES?

Since “suspending” his mayoral campaign, Pete Ruggieri has decided to update his “People of Lancaster” Facebook page.  Classy, Pete!
That’s fine!  It’s what you do and people obviously have a choice to go there or not.    But the Lancaster Police should not be linking to  you on their Facebook page.  Yes, I’m one of those snowflakes who complained about it in an email to the police and Mayor Gray several months ago.  And you want to know what those clever police did?  They added more links so the link to POL wasn’t as obvious!  If only they applied their talents to solving murders and crimes!
It’s absurd that the police link to you and it is symbolic of how far out of control the Lancaster Police have become.
So enough of this “social media” nonsense.  I’m going to wrap it up this afternoon, send Paula and Ron packing off to their much needed diets and Facebook pages, and get on with the news in Lancaster!

    1. Note to Paula: I sure as hell do know who I’m dealing with! ;-) :P But calm down – I’m going to print your comments today with my answers. So please stop buzzing around like a nasty little gnat and do something worthwhile for a change.

    2. Well, look at this from today’s York Daily News: “Pew: Most Facebook users take a break.”

NEW YORK — Too much drama, boredom and scads of irrelevant information are just some of the reasons Facebook users give for taking a break from the world’s biggest social networking site for weeks at a time, according to a new study.

    3. Ron Harper’s all important Facebook question today – one of at least 20 inspirational things he’ll post somehow squeezing in time to write a screenplay and research a book in between his posts ;-) :P :

FB question: How many of you are left-handed like me? Please ‘like’ if you are!

    4. Becky, after reading some of your blogs, I was impressed. Your blogs were well written, better than the letter you received from the attorney. I personally do not know either you or Paula, but I do not understand why you must use her in your blogs. It just seems silly. Stick with what you do best and keep up your activism of supporting those who have loved ones whose murders were unsolved. I found them quite interesting. I am curious as to how you were able to see my question on the abuse that Rosa took. Are you friends with Paula? As for Ron, I do not know him, either, but I did take him off my friend list because of certain reasons, but also curious as to how you know what he puts up, when I don’t? Are you all friends that know each other? Very confused, must be my age. Once again, I did enjoy your blogs that I read.

    5. Shirley, thanks and really good questions. I will try to answer them tomorrow. And I don’t have anything personal against Paula except that she did go on the initial attack (see my comment under today’s post). And then she had a field day with my getting a letter from Sadler’s lawyer as did “freedom-of-speech advocate” Ronnie Harper!
