From today’s article, “Leola man, charged with homicide, admitted he struck son,” (click here).

     I can’t go to anymore Facebook pages of the parents of murdered or injured children. When I look at some of the pictures of the babies/toddlers, I think I can see the pain in their eyes. I do not know the answers. It is so unbearably senseless and sad. Obviously the father in this case is being held accountable. What about the mothers of these children?

     I will have more at a later date.

[Editor's Comment: On a journalistic note, a portion of the Facebook entry I posted this morning (see immediately below) was also used by the Lancaster Newspapers this afternoon. At the bottom of the article it says, "Staff Writer Enelly Betancourt contributed to this story." She speaks Spanish as she is the lone minority on LNP's editorial staff and is the editor of La Voz. She obviously did a better job than google, but LNP has an absolute journalistic responsibility to say the original was in Spanish and it was translated by Enelly Betancourt of their staff.]
