Yesterday morning, as I typed the headline “TEN UNSOLVED MURDERS IN LESS THAN FIVE YEARS,” the gravity and horror of it struck me anew. Later in the day, I was speaking to a Philly reporter and I added “in a city of 50,000″ to the sentence.
And the Chief of Police, Keith Sadler, the big cop from Philly, has the unmitigated gall to have a lawyer send me a letter stating I am disrupting his “quiet enjoyment of life” and placing his family in danger (see the letter below)?
Unbelievable! Simply, absolutely unbelievable!

Becky, do I understand correctly that the issue here is that you published pictures of the Chief and his family that were either published in the newspaper (in a voluntary article that he participated in) and/or posted on the Chief’s own, “open” (public) Facebook page? Am i understanding things correctly?

Talking, I haven’t had the pleasure of speaking with his lawyer yet (
), but the letter says, “in regards to his daughter and the use of her image.” When I chanced upon his first wife and her book, which no one in Lancaster knew about, I posted a story about his two families and used a picture of him with his daughter that was on his open Facebook page. I also ran a picture of he and his “new” wife, again from his open Facebook page at the time. That is all I know. -
Let me add that no one in Lancaster knew about it except for the Lancaster Newspapers who decided to stay absolutely silent on the allegations of physical abuse in his first, 20 year marriage!

Becky, they want to shut you down because you’re not a “Lap Dog” for the gang in charge of Lancaster City. Just like “King” Barak Obama would love to shut down Rush Limbaugh & Fox News; Why? Because his “Lordship” doesn’t want anyone to tell the truth about his administration! Same thing in Lancaster, get the press behind you, and sue everybody else!

What about the additional 5 unsolved homicides between Gray’s innaugaration and the hiring of Chief Sadler? It seems like everybody is incompetent under Gray. When the police cheif’s boss only focuses on art and some tourist destination fantasy, the chief has no real pressure to preform.
