    SCHREIBER LIES!

         Today, the New Era runs an editorial that is nothing but a blatant attempt to coerce the County Commissioners into increasing the hotel tax to benefit the hotel the newspapers own.  Can you say conflict of interest?   Unbelievable!
         Run these newspapers and their new “Executive Editor,” Ernie Schreiber, out of town!

      Luzerne County? Yes, let’s do everything exactly the way Luzerne County does it! Can somebody tell me where the hell Luzerne County is? I have to Google…

      Luzerne County is a county in northeastern Pennsylvania, with a total population of 320,918 (as of the 2010 census). It is located in the northern anthracite area called The Coal Region. Its county seat is Wilkes-Barre. It is part of the Scranton–Wilkes-Barre metropolitan area.
