    I’LL BE BACK!

Sandy, Sandy, Sandy!  Would you get here already?  Why do you tease us this way?  This is like torture!  Let’s get this over with!
Today, feeling helpless, I bought candles.  Lots and lots of candles.  Tall ones, short ones, fat ones, thin ones and scented ones!  I figure I have enough candles to burn one everyday from now until Christmas.
But, if Sandy really does take the power and I need candle power - well, I’m smarter than Mayor Gray and Donald Trump combined – so I think I’ll buy some more candles tomorrow – just in case!
Have a great Friday and I’ll be back with some serious news tomorrow.

[Editor's Note:  Did I mention it's hard to find even one votive candle these days?  Remember when there were boxes and boxes of twelve in every dollar store across this great nation?  Now, all you can find are teeny-tiny little "glow" candles or some such thing that look like they will burn for exactly two minutes!  With incredible diligence and detective work, however, I did find a stash of votive candles in one store.  In the immortal words of Arnold - "I'll be back!" :-)

    1. This is a note to the Ugg spammer from freaking China! Cut it out! You will not get your damn Ugg boots spam on this site. Get lost or I’ll really get angry! ;-) :P

This Hurricane Sandy looks like it may pack a giant punch right over central Pennsylvania, so, please, stay safe everyone! My Mom and Dad lived in the Conestoga Manor trailer park (off 272 at the Cocalico Creek bridge) for over 19 years, and every time a big storm hit the region I’d call and ask if their trailer was in the Chesapeake Bay by then. And look out for your neighbors, too!
