STILL CRITICAL

    As of today at 12:00 noon, 71-year-old Ubaldo Ramos-Rodriguez remained in the trauma unit of Lancaster General Hospital. He was taken to LGH Friday night by ambulance from the police station, where according to the police press release, he fell striking the back of his head after being arrested for public drunkenness (click here for the press release).
    A call was placed to Mayor Gray’s office this afternoon. A voicemail was left with his secretary, Bernie Burkholder, asking for the status of the investigation into this very serious and shocking incident and when the video of it, which the police say was captured by their surveillance cameras, will be released to the public. A formal written request will be submitted tomorrow.
    Also tomorrow, LIP News will contact the Lancaster Police Department directly and the District Attorney’s Office.
