A domestic violence incident is on the homepage of Lancaster Online and on page B-1 of today’s print edition, “Investigator: Standoff in Lancaster city ends peacefully,” (click here).
And remember this from two years ago, “Lancaster Police Officer Jose Diaz lethal vehicular domestic assault,” (click here)? What ever happened to Jose Diaz?
When will the Lancaster Newspapers tell us about the domestic violence past of Police Chief Keith Sadler? Does the public have a right and a need to know? Why would Sadler keep it hidden?
And there was this from yesterday’s dim-witted New Era editorial, “Getting tough with burglars,” about District Attorney Craig Stedman (click here):
Stedman’s job as DA is not to put as many people behind bars as possible, but to keep the public safe.
Who is keeping the public safe in Lancaster County?

Everyday when I wake up this simply amazes and disgusts me! I don’t use the expression “mainstream media” very often but this is one case where I will! WGAL, CBS21 and Fox43 all know about this. Several have indicated they may do a story. But they are too afraid! They are waiting for the Lancaster Newspapers to write something. But LNP is trying to hide it, you see, because they like their African-American Police Chief who doesn’t care that there’s only one minority on the entire LNP editorial staff (the editor of LaVoz, a publication in Spanish), he doesn’t care that the police force, and most notably the detectives, are all white, he doesn’t care that the courthouse is all white. He just wants to collect his paycheck until he can retire and get a second pension – and that makes LNP very happy! This is disgusting and on top of all that, the Chief and his force are not solving any crimes – particularly those committed against minorities! Unbelievable!

I realize now more then ever, that if they write this story it; will be like throwing eggs at themselves….They knew, they all knew and it is now a embarrassment to them! How can they hold up their heads? How can they expect the people of Lancaster, PA to trust them, when they knew there Chief Sadler had a history of domestic violence.
They knew, now they are trying to clean up the eggs on their face and it’s not working.

above all else:
we need the veil of secrecy lifted.
we need justice for those who were abused.
we need accountability from those who abused.
we need an answer for WHY does this happen
why do the police continue to protect their own?
why do the people of Pennsylvania put up with this?
