WHY DOESN’T ANYONE KNOW?

    The incredible irony in the Rosa Torres-Sadler story is it is because of LNP’s paywall that I found her. Last Sunday at about noon I was trying to bring up the article and video of Lancaster Police Lt. Jarrad Berkihiser discussing an early morning stabbing that left a man in critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital.
    I hit LNP’s paywall three times and my usual method of defeating it was not working. Frustrated, I remembered that when I googled Berkihiser earlier in the day the video was on YouTube. I decided I would go there and link to that video to go with my story.
    Over to the right I noticed the video, “Press Conference on Arrest in East Walnut Street Homicide.” I decided to watch it one more time and then I glanced down at the two comments under it.
    I almost fell off my chair. Then I clicked on her name and I began to shake. “This can’t be possible,” I was thinking. “Why doesn’t anyone know?”
    I dialed the number for Torres Publishing and she answered. Are you the ex-wife of Lancaster Police Chief Keith Sadler, I asked in disbelief? “Yes,” she said. Is he one of the topics in your book, “Abuse Hidden Behind the Badge,” I asked? “Yes,” she said.
    It went up on this site as “BREAKING NEWS” within fifteen minutes of my hanging up the phone.
