TWO FAMILIESPolice Chief Keith Sadler has been married twice and has one biological child, two adopted children and three step-children.
His current wife is Denise and his one biological child is the baby daughter he had with her last September. He is also the step-father to her two teenage daughters.
What we were never told is that he was married previously.
His first marriage was to Rosa Torres-Sadler, which began on June 25, 1983 and ended with a divorce in March of 2004. He legally adopted her two older sons and was step-father to her daughter. These children are now in the thirties.
Rosa’s picture, their marriage certificate and the divorce decree are below. The story will continue tomorrow.

Since the book came out so many were curious about who were my past abusers, (Mark Stun and Damien.) After realizing those very dear and close to my heart would rather I continue to protect and hide the true identity of one particular man because of the title that he holds as Chief of Police in Lancaster, Keith R. Sadler.
Some may say, I am bitter, why haven’t I moved on? Some have even commented on LIP News that I sold my soul for money. What money?!
Several feel that I am vindictive, evil, a hater wanting to destroy my ex-husbands career and of retired State Trooper Anthony Suber.
Several even attacked my book, my writing, my grammar. One went to far as to say, I should of gotten a editor; I did and sadly it was edited poorly.Never have I ever said, I am a great writer, or I am great scholar in writing or I have MD, PHD, and ED after my name, I am just me. I wrote from my heart. I wrote the truth and what happened to me and how we, yes we survived Domestic Violence by the famous, immaculate, shining reputation, golden child of the Philadelphia Police Department Keith R. Sadler.
Who am I, I am a good hearted, loving, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all. Like so many I am left with physical damage. When God decides to take me home with my parents, and I arrive to see my Papi and Mami waiting with open arms and saying “YOU DID IT, YOU STOOD STRONG AND NEVER GAVE UP.”
So to those who may want to scream, because I finally said, no more! No more protecting my past abusers. Be angry. I’m not. I want to scream, for those who feel defeated; I want to be able to protect those who cry because they feel no one is hearing the pain they feel. I AM AND I ALWAYS WILL BE HERE FOR YOU, EVEN AFTER DEATH.

Allow me to say this, my children have protected Keith for many years. For me to finally reveal the true identity of my past abuser shames them.
Many children of past abuse victims do turn on them and I seen it with many women, including myself. Again, I apologize for my daughter.

Go right ahead miss howell call, write lpn, wgal cbs 21….maybe try mayor gray………they won’t cover this story.It will open a huge can of worms for lancaster city.The great chief can’t solve murders, really do you think they’ll make him look even worse?.

Wow your kids turned on you thats a bit harsh but its cool you can feel what you like but if anything I think your kids are trying to have a relationship with you and there father and dont need noone one putting there biz out like that us kids are his and yours but thanks to this site we are not looked at as his kids but those who betrayed there mother and deffend there father and as the adopted kids I hated hearing that from others and now have to see it here this is all wrong things happen you learn from it and move forward.

G.R.S. – There were three major domestic violence stories in today’s print edition of the Lancaster Newspapers and their online site – 2 murders and a brutal assault. This is a huge problem in our society and Rosa is trying to bring awareness to that fact and that the police very often protect their own. It’s not acceptable to have a chief of police who beat his ex-wife over the course of years. Period! Mr. Sadler needs to find a different field to work in. He’s receiving a full pension from Philly. Let him find another job. Domestic calls are the most common calls the Lancaster Police respond to. Mr. Sadler has no business being the Chief of Police and overseeing those officers!

So tell me do you have kids and have you ever beast them have you ever laid your hands on someone out of anger I cant stress enough the story where the one thing Jesus said was HE WHO HAS NOT SIN THEMSELF MY BE FIRST TO CAST THE STONE As and officer he has done a wonderful job and Mrs Torres knows that as an officer he was great. But What I can say is this HE is A GREAT OFFICER AND MAN MRS TORRES IS A GREAT MOTHER AND WOMAN THEY BOTH MADE MISTAKE AND HAVE THERE OWN LIVES TO LIVE SO LET THEM LIVE IT

I must share this with all my family and friends. I am not running for Mayor, Governor, State Rep, Congress Women…….But…..I am a register voter. To all REGISTER VOTERS Democrat, Republican, Non- Partisan….Did I miss any others. Remember if you do not like what your government is doing for you, vote them out!!! It is your right as an United States American to cast your vote. So to some politicians in PA. I do not need to be investigated because I am not running for office but….I am an American and a Register Voter.

G.R.S. – Mr. Sadler has not been a good police chief. Please note the “UNSOLVED MURDERS” and “UNSOLVED CRIMES” tabs at the top of my site. They were there long before I knew about Rosa. The top permanent post has been up there for well over a year regarding the first murder and I added the second murder before I knew about Rosa. Sadler said on the day he was sworn in, “The buck stops at my desk.” Plain and simple, the Lancaster Police are doing a dreadful job. And it’s been on Sadler’s watch and he has to go. I was saying that for several months before I knew about Rosa.

I think you hit on a good point, FWIW. It appears many county police departments release more information than the Lancaster Police. Please note in the last week or so we have had the following with almost no information released and zero follow-up by LNP:
1. Last Friday morning a man was stabbed at New Dorwart and Manor Streets and in critical condition at LGH last we heard. We have never learned his name, his current condition, any further details regarding the stabbing and obviously no arrest has been made.
2. A suspicious death last Sunday of a man in an apartment at 46 N. Prince Street. Did the police ever release his name? Is this a murder investigation or not? There has not been one word of follow-up by the police or LNP.
3. A city Turkey Hill was robbed by two men. I have to look it up but there was virtually no information released and no arrests have been made.
4. Yesterday’s horrendous arson fire.
— And then in another one I have to look up and review, two men robbed a city man sometime last week. One of the men allegedly hit him with the gun and fired two shots. If I recall, they caught one man but didn’t find the gun and the other robber is still on the loose.
This is ridiculous! WE HAVE A RIGHT TO MORE INFORMATION. IT WOULD HELP GET SOME OF THESE STABBERS AND SHOOTERS AND ARSONISTS OFF THE STREET! NOT TO MENTION KILLERS!

Lancaster News will not allow me to reply to there forum. My children are all adults. Just as myself we covered up the abuse. Jesus said, those who are without sin cast the first stone.
Just as those poor children who were sexually abused by SANDUSKY, the fear of coming forward was overwhelming. I understand now, why they did not reveal there true identity. You would rather attack me.

Olympia Howell you have to learn when you write a sentence end it with a period. If my father did domestic violence I would not defend him. If a man hit you, would you accept it. I would hope not. The fact is your father may be a great cop a man who never hits a woman could never call himself a man.

Hmmm alot of comments but to be honest noone here lived in this house hold. But it’s ok everyone can have an opinion. But I tell you this I and my sibling know how things really where and as the oldest there are alot of things I do remember that shouldn’t of happened did but some know how to live and learn. As far AS you Mrs Becky you tell me do you know who commited these crimes. You seem to be an expert maybe instead of trying to dicredit an outstandding officer you should use your resources to help bring these people to justice for the crimes they commited. Or are you only willing to help try to discredit people versus trying to help

Also, if you check under number one on my “UNSOLVED CRIMES” list you will see that the police know his name – which makes sense – he was in a bar! Why hasn’t his name been released? Why hasn’t he been arrested? Did he leave town? The public has a right and need to know. One of Mayor Gray’s huge issues is people discharging guns in the city. And your dad talks about it in one of his videos. Why doesn’t the public know?
