WE DESERVE ANSWERS!Posted on August 1st, 2012 6 comments
Lancaster Citizens deserve an explanation from Chief Sadler, about his less than pristine past. Also Lancaster citizens deserve an explanation why Keith Sadler wasn’t properly vetted for his job, in light of his alleged abusive past involving his ex-wife.
Notice I said “alleged”. There are always two sides to a story, but Mr. Sadler needs to address these accusations in an honest, forthright manner.
The beginning of a thread starting on the Lancaster Newspaper’s own forum “Lancaster’s Chief Sadler’s Alleged Abusive Past,” (click here).
The Lancaster Newspapers, whose obligation and duty is to provide their readers with vital information they need to know and to hold public officials accountable, refuses to address this issue but it’s being discussed on their own forum.
Shameful, Lancaster Newspapers. Just shockingly shameful.
Please check back later today.

This email was sent to Intell/New Era editor Charles Shaw, Managing Editor Pete Mekeel and reporters/columnists Jack Brubaker and Larry Alexander on July 30, 2012:
I am in receipt of emails between Jack Brubaker and Ms. Torres-Sadler regarding her abuse at the hands of Police Chief Keith Sadler. Please advise why this was never mentioned in the Lancaster Newspapers.
Don’t miss our interview with award winning author and domestic violence survivor Rosaura Torres. She will be discussing the horrors she faced during her marriage to a high ranking police officer in Philadelphia and her fight to recover from this abuse. Please tune in and do not forget to call live. All this and more on our show Friday at 11 PM.

Thank you Becky … reading LIP News makes me feel like there the 4th estate is still in existence.
Clara, LOL! Riding her coat tails? I’ve been publishing daily for almost 9 years! I don’t do coat tails. Did you watch the video by Lt. Todd Umstead that I linked to? The Lancaster Police deal with 3,000 domestic calls a year – it is their most “common” call. Tell me how you can have a domestic abuser as the police chief under those conditions?
September 25, 2012 will be the nine year anniversary of this site, Clara!
Oops! Put my response to Clara under the wrong thread. Will also move it to the correct one. I must be tired!
