    WHO’S WATCHING?

The suspect fled on foot and headed north on Queen Street toward Binns Park. From there he entered the Prince Street Parking Garage, police said. Officers sealed off and searched the garage but didn’t find the suspect.
Police also reportedly searched a neighboring café after a person matching the description of the suspect was seen at the location.
No other information was available from city police Wednesday night.
Lancaster Online, “Search for suspected jewelry store thief turns up empty,” (click here).
It may not seem important. It was, by LNP’s account, one Rolex watch that was stolen. However, the story stayed on their online homepage for a day and made the Thursday print edition on page B-1.  And it obviously involved a large number of police and expense to the public.
Clink the link to read the “full” article and then you tell me what’s totally wrong/missing from this story. Do the police really want to catch this thief?
Please check back later today for three very serious crimes where the perpetrators are known but no arrests have been made.

It’s interesting that the time shown on the watch is the same as that which was always shown in the old Timex commercials: 10:10. A lot of theories about why this time was shown were rumored, but the real reason was that it nicely framed the brand name on the dial–just as this picture does. Having said all that, it’s always time to catch the crooks!

    2. I enjoyed that, Barry! Thanks! :P
