LANCASTER NEWSPAPERS: UNCONSCIONABLE!
Posted on August 15th, 2012 9 commentsWHERE IS THE JUSTICE?

Erma Kaylor, 83 murdered in her home on May 16, 2012
Let’s keep the main thing the main thing… bad people are getting away with murder. That needs to stop! Where is the City of Lancaster’s plan to turn all this around. To have the chief of police posing on a great big horse never made a lick of sense to me. Now all this news of domestic abuse is deeply discouraging and should be addressed. But the main thing is…where is the justice for all the victims?

Shockingly, the Lancaster Newspapers have this as a front page story today, “Cop cards making a comeback in Lancaster city,” (click here and also see “DO YOUR JOBS!” below for the picture of Chief Sadler‘s card). You can get your child a “cop card” with a wife abuser in uniform sitting on a horse! Ain’t Lancaster grand? This is unconscionable and simply unbelievable!
In the meantime, there is no justice for Erma Kaylor and her family and friends. Tomorrow is the three month anniversary of her brutal murder and her killer is still walking the streets of Lancaster while the police pull this nonsense and the Lancaster Newspapers run this absurd, sickening front page story.
Please check back later today.9 responses to “LANCASTER NEWSPAPERS: UNCONSCIONABLE!”

This comment came in under “WHAT A HACK!” this morning and I’m also posting it here:
Whether or not they get social security is not an issue. They get huge salaries for doing work that is not any riskier than being a truck driver. Most of the officers have very limited education. They work great hours that gives them lots of time to spend with their families, play golf, take vacations, etc. They get months of vacation a year. The average pay is likely well over $70,000 per year. They can retire at 20 and 25 years of service and receive pensions, IMMEDIATELY, that are more than most people make working full time. And at 45 years old when we pay them to retire, they get other jobs that provide more income on top of their huge pensions.
I guess it wouldn’t be such an issue if they did something other than write traffic tickets and sit around posting on the internet.

The ruling from the panel of three arbiters, dated Dec. 26, grants the city’s 143 unionized police officers a salary increase of 2 percent retroactive to July 1 of last year, additional 3 percent increases as of Jan. 1 and another 3 percent increase on Jan. 1, 2013.

WHAT THE HELL DOES SGT. TIMOTHY FREY DO ALL DAY LONG? POST OLD PICTURES AND CRAP LIKE THIS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE NON-STOP. IF THEY ACTUALLY SOLVED A CRIME IT MIGHT NOT BE SO BAD BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND NEEDS TO STOP!
DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT NEON SIGNS?
Recently a Lancaster City resident donated the neon “Police Station” sign that used to hang on the East Grant Street police station. The resident had the sign in storage for many years w…aiting for the right time to donate it to the department. After reading about our museum project he decided the time was right. The sign is made of sheet metal and used to have glass tubing on each side. The paint is in decent shape, the glass tubing is gone, but the components that powered the neon are still inside. This sign is over 60 years old! If anyone has knowledge of neon signs and would like to take a look at the sign and give a quote to have it restored please contact SGT Timothy Frey, Crime Prevention Sergeant, at (717) 735-3481 or freyt@police.co.lancaster.pa.us -
SGT. FREY EVEN GAVE US A NEON SIGN FOLLOW-UP! JUST WHAT WE ALL NEED! HOW MUCH ARE THEY GOING TO PAY TO HAVE THE STUPID SIGN RESTORED? IT’S YOUR MONEY!!!!
NEON SIGN FOLLOW UP
Here is a photo of the former Grant Street police station. Notice the neon sign mounted at the corner of the building. That is the sign that was donated by a Lancaster City citizen who was involved in the demolition of that building. -
I also would like to inform you of the other overtime expenditures of my bureau. The average person may not be aware of how detectives might work three days straight without sleep, trying to catch a murderer of one of our citizens or the shooter of a 7-year-old girl. Many citizens get to stay home during severe weather conditions like floods, hurricanes and snowstorms to ensure their families and homes are safe while police, fire and public works employees HOPE their families are secure while they are at work putting in overtime to ensure the city is safe. When a house or structure is on fire, the occupants exit quickly while firefighters and cops run into the building to ensure everyone got out safely.
Chief Keith Sadler. “Police officers are worthy of their pay” -

Recently, the city’s mounted patrol, which includes Chief Keith Sadler and Duke (trivia fact: Sadler learned to ride a horse after becoming chief here) got cards.
Here’s a trivia fact about the chief for you “reporter” Dan Nephin: Sadler’s ex-wife has written a book about the abuse she suffered at his hands and cannot drive a car because he caused a retinal detachment in her right eye.
You are a disgrace, Dan Nephin!

This is all damage control. Many in Lancaster questioned me. Asked if I try to get help. On my facebook pages, Twitter and Google, I shared with my followers the letter I sent to Mayor John Street, years before he became your chief. Shame on Lancaster newspaper for not telling the truth.
