    **   The Crime Stoppers notice below went up on WGAL-TV before noon. Fox 43 had it up an hour later. Lancaster Online still does not have it up! What in the world is going on? Aren’t the Lancaster Newspapers the sponsor of the Crime Stoppers program? 

    * Erma Kaylor’s brutal murder is the Crime Stoppers crime of the week (click here). 

    CRIME PREVENTION?

            Will Lancaster Police Sgt. Timothy Frey do any work today?

      Folks, I have disturbing news! Yesterday, Mayoral Candidate and Sleep Consultant, Pete Ruggieri said this on his People of Lancaster (PA) Facebook page:

      6000 POL fans – thank you. We’ll be announcing our new logo later today as well. Cheers.

      Well, cheers to you as well, Pete, but where’s the new logo? You did not make the big announcement! Is this the kind of mayor you would be? Promising announcements and then going back on your word? Not good, Pete. Not good!

      Are you alright? You see Becky, people like Pete cannot handle anyone confronting them…..SO their only way to come back is with insult. You are amazing. Your work is true news. The Mayor, Chief, and Pete want’s the community of Lancaster to think; things are just peachy. Again, I am so sorry.

      $1,000 BUCKS. I would think at this point the police would up that significantly just to get Becky off of their case. They clearly need all the help they can get.

      I see this as nothing more than a “publicity stunt,” Talking! The police are just working so hard! Maybe they’ll throw out some “working around the clock,” “we won’t rest” and “we’re working tirelessly” quotes on this! :-(

      Two Philadelphia Police Beat reporters could have solved this in two hours – but wait – we did do that and we’re not even official police beat reporters!
