Clicking on the first “click here” link takes me to the Facebook sign in page. Do I have to be on Facebook to be able to read that?

I’m not sure. Does anyone know? It takes me directly to their page so I think maybe you do. That’s why I think the Lancaster Police should stop with the Facebook nonsense and move to a website (which they do have a new site going up – LOL! – to be reviewed here shortly).
-
It’s not on the Police website under “PRESS RELEASES” where it should be but LNP just put the story up – http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/688216_Suspects-sought-in-pair-of-shootings.html

You have to be logged into facebook to view most stuff.
This reply just came in by email. There have been times when I am not logged into FB that I can see one page that is linked to and to do anything else it asks me to log in. Anyway, again, I feel that is why the police should make their website the main distributor of their news – not Facebook. A lot of people don’t have Facebook accounts and can’t access it. That’s not appropriate.

A fear of the media July 15th, 2012 at 13:44
Becky,
I call BS on the Lancaster City Police department on their “media” clause. If it weren’t for suspects turning themselves in and agressive action by citizens and YOU, there would be few violent crimes getting solved.
I’d tell Gray, the chief and the head of the detectives to take a hike on this one.

I am sorry – due to a technical issue I will not publish this afternoon. Will be back tomorrow bright and early!
