SADLER, SWITZER & UMSTEAD MUST GO! – 2
Posted on July 17th, 2012 12 commentsPROFESSIONALISM & INTEGRITY?

Subject: The Murder of Erma Kaylor
For: Police Chief Keith Sadler
Captain of Detectives Kent Switzer.
Lt. Todd Umstead,Please advise why you have not requested the assistance of the Lancaster County Detectives to help apprehend the killer of 83-year-old Erma Kaylor. She was killed in her home at 235 W. Vine Street on May 16th of this year.
The Lancaster Newspapers quoted Chief Sadler as follows:
City police Chief Keith Sadler said residents have a right to feel uneasy that a person who would commit such an “evil” act is free.
“I don’t think anyone should feel comfortable knowing there is someone who could do that,” Sadler said Thursday. “Somebody who would do this is a coward, to do something like this to an elderly person who can’t defend herself.”Again, why have you not requested assistance in capturing her killer and when do you plan to ask for their assistance? This is the highest priority for the safety, security and quality of life for city residents.
I eagerly await your reply.
Thank you,
Becky Holzinger
Editor, lipnews.comThe above email was originally sent on July 10th, it was second requested on July 11th and a third request was sent on July 13th. The Mayor’s office was copied in on all three requests. Do you think any one of these three “gentlemen” had the professionalism and integrity to respond?
Please check back later today.12 responses to “SADLER, SWITZER & UMSTEAD MUST GO! – 2”

If they’d answer it, it would be something like….. .Dear Becky, would you just mind your own business and let us eat some more donuts? Don’t you understand we’re not calling detectives – they will make us look bad. They also don’t eat as many donuts. We will not be solving this case, it’s too complicated. Thanks for inquiring. Hi Becky…I just looked at the website listed above, and in reading the Mission Statement; I noted that no where does it say anything about solving crimes!!!!!!!
I guess they are fulfilling the Mission!!!!!

Tons of Fun….LOL….I was thinking the exact same thing, looks like he’s had one (or more) too many donuts!!!! LOL But then again he looks exactly like many of the men from the police dept in the town where I live and SADLY too many murders go unsolved here too. WHAT DO THESE COPS DO to earn their paychecks?!?!?!?! UGH…its a disgrace!!!! I think there should be a “scale” for getting payed…solve a crime, get payed…solve no crimes, get no pay!!!! MAYBE then we’d see some of these murders get some major LEG WORK, and goodness knows, from the looks of some of these cops (and the cops in my town)they NEED to get out of their cars and do some major leg work!!!! Thats just my opinion though.

I’ve looked at that photo of Kent Switzer for several days and couldn’t put my finger on why I found it disturbing. Not the weight of the man but the way he wears his hat.
It finally hit me – Remember Captain Klink? And on further thought, I remember the image of Tom Cruise in the movie Valkyrie. There are a number of images of German officers who wore their uniform hats in the very same way.
You’ll note that Keith Sadler’s hat does not have that effect where the middle of the hat is tall and the sides are ‘mushed’ down.
This may be absolutely irrelevant but I had to put it out there. I find his image disturbing.

Mr. Switzer is a very busy man and apparently doesn’t get out of the office much! If you click on the slideshow of unsolved murders in this article, all of the 21 in the city when the article was written, say to call Kent Switzer. Since the Chief told me they work on these unsolved murders everyday – he must be extremely busy but so far has had no success with any of them!

Are they missing one? Wasn’t there a young Hispanic lady found in the Susquehanna R.?
I couldn’t believe there were so many! Thanks for that link, Becky. Even tho it really deflated my day.
-
Yes. I believe they are missing several but most certainly Lydia Colon-Torres should be on that list!

I thought the fat guy’s uniform, hat and appearance had a Third Reich look too. Disturbing.
