    Rosaura Torres-Sadler filed for a Protection From Abuse Order from her then husband and now Lancaster Chief of Police, Keith Sadler, in late 1999.
    She says he then shut off her electricity and phone. She said he had caused a retinal detachment in her right eye and she could not work to support herself.
    On December 15, 1999, she and Sadler signed a “Stipulation for Temporary Support” which included Stipulation # 7 which reads: “Wife agrees to withdraw current Petition for Protection From Abuse and in the event wife does not withdraw petition on the next court date, December 21, 1999, this stipulation shall become null and void and the issue of support shall proceed.”
    Torres-Sadler withdrew her petition so she could receive support.
    Torres-Sadler also corresponded by email with Jack Brubaker, the longtime reporter for the Lancaster Newspapers, in April of this year. She sent him a signed copy of the above Stipulation for Temporary Support and Federal Expressed a copy of her book to him, “Abuse Hidden Behind the Badge.” I have an email in to LNP Editor Charles Shaw, reporter Jack Brubaker and others at the Lancaster Newspapers asking why they withheld this crucial information from the public.
