  • * UPDATED – POLICE CHIEF KEITH SADLER

    WHOLE LOTTA BUCKS!

Please note that a new addition to “UNSOLVED CRIMES” has been added under the tab above. It is the last one on the list. Take a look at these very serious crimes from this June and July and you tell me why they are not being solved. You tell me why the police are leaving shooters, stabbers and arsonists on the street to repeat their crimes.
If you go to the Lancaster Police’s new website, it says “Serving with Professionalism and Integrity.” I have sent the Chief of Police, Keith Sadler, a question in an email and it is now on its fifth request. There has been no response. I left him two voicemails last week requesting he return my call. Nothing. Not a thing from this big, former Philly cop! I will publish the email here tomorrow morning and if there’s no response by noon, I will take further action.
The story below will also come tomorrow. Sadler began his term as Chief of Police in April of 2008 making $96,000 “and fringe benefits,” according to Mayor Gray. The Sunday News reported several months ago he now makes $119,457 and I assume he still gets those same “fringe benefits.”
So, while everyone else has been suffering through a severe recession, he’s added $23,457 to his paycheck in four years. What has he done to earn it?

    “THE BUCK STOPS
    AT MY DESK!”

THE BIG, BAD CHIEF INSPECTOR FROM PHILLY.
SO HOW’S HE DOING IN LANCASTER?
    Please check back later today.

    1. Hint: a lot of bucks stop at his desk! What on earth is he doing to earn those kinds of raises?

    2. Second hint: Please review the “UNSOLVED MURDERS” AND “UNSOLVED CRIMES” under the tabs at the top of this site. A new one will be added to “UNSOLVED CRIMES” today. This list only begins with June 2012!

    3. Chunky Blue Line

The Lancaster police need to take a lesson from the East Lampeter police force. They are actively investigating and interviewing people regarding the murder of the mother/daughter even though the young man has confessed and is in custody.

Maybe the EastLamp guys could show them how to do it.

There are probably hundreds of criminology students in a 20-mile radius of Lancaster. Can they work as interns once their schooling is complete for experience and class credit? Deputize them and put them on the street to collect information. Are the police monitoring social media? From what I’ve seen, people put all sorts of info out there without a filter.

    4. I like your name “Chunky, ” lol!, and that’s interesting information and a good suggestion!

The “UNSOLVED CRIMES” have been updated. It is the last one on the page – an unsolved shooting on July 14, 2012. Another idiot with a gun is on the loose in Lancaster. And seriously, that’s the best description the guy could give for getting robbed in broad daylight? And the police couldn’t update the info? DO THEY EVEN TRY TO SOLVE THESE VERY SERIOUS CRIMES?

    5. It’s funny how so many people want to blame the law yet they will break the law how offen do the people help with the investigations when the detectives go around asking questions or look for leeds the public wants to run and hide becasue they dont want to get in the middle of things. Seem to me that its easier to blame the law but how helpful is the comunity with the law inforcement agent. You can bash these Men who put there life online all you want but the truth of the matter is when trouble is notice who is call The Police. Dont try and put the blame all on One man Take some blame yourself We are not god so we shall not judge.
