“I’M GOING TO THE BISHOP!” – 2
Posted on July 21st, 2012 4 commentsA TERRIBLE TALE! – 2
(PHOTOS BELOW)
On June 18 of this year, Ron Harper, Jr. posted a series of disturbing photographs and a story on his Facebook page.
A few notes before I continue – Harper, of course, is the man behind the now defunct 5thestate.com and the Lancaster Post. He has long been referred to by the Lancaster Newspapers and others as a “community watchdog.”
He has now moved his venue to Facebook to, as he has stated, “educate people.” He has acquired as many “friends” as possible and posts all day long – mostly about corrupt police, but he throws in religion, politics, his animals and other topics from time to time.
It is not wise to disagree with him as you will swiftly be called a “hater” or a “stalker” or someone filled with envy at Harper’s greatness.
Now, back to his story. He wrote this:
I turned toward Willow Street Post office (the post master is pulling the spring wagon!) and there was a horse ATTACHED to the wagon with blood ALL OVER the STREET! This was after the Amish man tried FOUR TIMES to get the horse to stand up without unharnessing the horse!!!
And this:
There is my size 8 1/2 shoe to give you an idea of how much blood there was on the street.
And this:
The horse was literally dripping blood from the mouth.
And this:
The horse had ALL FOUR legs bleeding in addition to his mouth.
So people asked if he called the police, if he called the humane league or did anything to stop the Amish man from having the horse pull the carriage home. Commenters were justifiably angry and outraged.
Harper did none of those things – but he told people he had a better solution – he was going to change the whole Amish culture surrounding their treatment of animals! Harper was going to see this man’s Bishop!
To be continued and please be advised that some of these photos are extremely disturbing:

Going by the pictures…
Horse fell and smash its mouth
Man tried to get horse to stand
Horse Unhiched from buggy
Horse got back to its feet
All ends on a happy note.
Had a look at Rons F/B page and saw something about pigs feet(lovely)which he thought was disgusting.

Terrible story, whatever caused the horse’s problems, but I am impressed by the new site design.

Barry, there’s a “moral” of sorts coming to the horse story and thanks about the site. Chase did this in under a day and my biggest concern – saving all the previous material – he seems to have done just fine. Please be patient as I learn the kinks!
