    NO ARREST IN MURDER!

Could someone please have the professionalism to respond to this legitimate question that was originally emailed to you over a month ago and is on it’s fifth request? There still has not been an arrest made in this murder. Thank you.

    For: Police Chief Keith Sadler
    Captain of Detectives Kent Switzer.
    Lt. Todd Umstead,

Please advise why you have not requested the assistance of the Lancaster County Detectives to help apprehend the killer of 83-year-old Erma Kaylor. She was killed in her home at 235 W. Vine Street on May 16th of this year.

The Lancaster Newspapers quoted Chief Sadler as follows:

City police Chief Keith Sadler said residents have a right to feel uneasy that a person who would commit such an “evil” act is free.
“I don’t think anyone should feel comfortable knowing there is someone who could do that,” Sadler said Thursday. “Somebody who would do this is a coward, to do something like this to an elderly person who can’t defend herself,” (click here).

Again, why have you not requested assistance in capturing her killer and when do you plan to ask for their assistance? This is the highest priority for the safety, security and quality of life for city residents.

    I eagerly await your reply.
    Thank you,

This fifth request was emailed on July 25 and Mayor Gray’s office was copied in on all five.  The latest, unsolved murder of Rouit Bahadur, has striking similarities to the May 16th murder of Erma Kaylor.
    Please check back later today.
