RAGING RACISM!

    This morning I noted that I sent this email to Attorney Steven Breit through his website on July 9th:

Mr. Breit,

     “There’s nobody in there but a goofy white guy,” Lewis reported back, his trial lawyer recalled this week.
    Is this quote from the article by Brett Hambright, “6 teen killers have appealed life terms” accurate? And if so, why would you make a racially charged comment like that and hurt your former client?

    Mr. Briet’s response (which I gave him the chance to revise and he emailed: “I stand by my statement and commend the US Supreme Court for upholding the principles of The US Constitution.”):

    What was quoted came from the trial transcript, that is the record of the trial testimony. You are entitled to your belief’ as to effect that statement has on the reader of the article.
    Perhaps once Mr. Lewis is back in society you can question his motivation behind his statement ! I appreciate your concern for Mr. Lewis and our society. SLB

    My response to Mr. Breit:

    Wow! And you remembered that word for word 16 years later? And you do work for the Public Defenders office? OMG!

    Oh, my God, indeed! There will be more on this and also the raging racism at the Lancaster Newspapers later on this site.
